Hello from the Brent Landscaping team!
Dan is no stranger to hard work. Before founding Brent Landscaping in 2006, he spent 11 years in corporate sales at a Fortune 500 company in the South Bay. He earned his B.A. in Journalism with an emphasis in Public Relations from Long Beach State University, where he played football on an athletic scholarship, served as team captain, and was recognized as a scholar-athlete.

A Bay Area native, Dan has a deep appreciation for the outdoors. He spends his weekends fly fishing in the Sierra Mountains and has a passion for life sciences, horticulture, and ichthyology (the study of fish). His mission is to create serene, beautiful outdoor spaces where families and friends can unplug and reconnect. He believes landscaping isn’t just a service—it’s an extension of hospitality.

Since Brent Landscaping’s inception in 2006, Xochitl has been an integral part of its success. Her favorite part of the design process is witnessing the joy on clients’ faces when they see the final transformation. She also loves seeing the pride the installation team takes in their work, often commenting on how rewarding it is to create such stunning landscapes.
Outside of work, Xochitl enjoys painting, carpentry, and cooking—creative outlets that complement her passion for design.
