In an effort to gain a better understanding of our customers needs and wishes for their garden project we ask that clients think about the following:

What do you plan to use your garden for? Consider short-term and long term uses.  Some examples of activities include:  relaxation, entertainment, BBQ, swimming/lap pool, children’s recreation, cut flower bed, vegetable garden, compost area, dog area.

Which feature of your existing garden do you like or dislike?

Are there any environmental conditions I should be aware of (i.e. wind, poor drainage, heavy shade, gophers, deer, weeds, privacy issues?)

Are there landscape styles you prefer (i.e. formal or informal lines?  Native California garden?  Butterfly garden?  Fragrance garden?)

Are there any specific colors you like or dislike?

Are there any plants you specifically like or dislike?

Is there an outdoor event at a specific time of the year (i.e. family birthdays, hosting family events, etc.) when you will be entertaining?

Do you or members of your family have allergies to plants or bees?

Are you on a septic system?

Do you use well water for irrigating the landscape?
